Oliver Schories & Jan Blomqvist - Packard
Bremen, Germany. A place not necessarily known and recognized for being a capital of the German electronic music scene, at least for a long period of time.It took quite a while until the city was recognized and became a thriving hotspot for club music alongside the scenes capitals Frankfurt, Berlin and Hamburg, mostly due to the hard work of ever active producers and live performers like Stephan Bodzin and Thomas Schumacher. Amongst those another Bremen-based producer conquers the scene in 2011 and enters the spotlight due to a variety of remixes and first EP releases as well as a series of highly perceived live performances on the club circuit – Oliver Schories.
Soon thereafter, in 2012, things start to take off for the young artist on the rise. Oliver Schories is booked for more
breathtaking livesets on the international circuit whilst staying busy in the studio, creating more than 30 original tracks as well as remixes for the likes of Gui Boratto and Florian Meindl.
This early creative outburst finally led to his debut album „Herzensangelegenheit“ which was released in March 2012, gained widespread recognition and catapulted Oliver Schories to a next level in terms of club and festival performances within the shortest amount of time, taking him to places way beyond his hometown of Bremen.
Six years have passed and five longplay releases have been put on the circuit since then and the so-called mixtape maestro named Oliver Schories has become a main player within the international electronic music scene, loved and appreciated by his ever growing fan base for his rich, unique and warm sound as well as a distinct production style, no matter if he’s playing at prolific festivals like Fusion or Tomorrowland or at club venues in Los Angeles or Melbourne.
